জমকালো উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের মধ্য দিয়ে পর্দা উঠলো ইন্ডিয়ান প্রিমিয়ার লিগের (আইপিএল) ১৬তম আসরের। আহমেদাবাদের নরেন্দ্র মোদি স্টেডিয়ামে টুর্নামেন্টের আগে উদ্বোধনী মঞ্চ মাতালেন সঙ্গীতশিল্পী অরিজিৎ সিং, অভিনেত্রী তামান্না ভাটিয়া ও রাশমিকা মান্ধানা।
উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতেই মঞ্চে আসেন অরিজিৎ। গুজরাটি গান দিয়ে পারফর্ম শুরু করেন তিনি। তার পারফরম্যান্সে জমে যায় আইপিএলের আসর। কানায় কানায় ভর্তি নরেন্দ্র মোদি স্টেডিয়ামে দর্শক মুগ্ধ অরিজিৎয়ের একের পর এক হিট গান শুনে।
